Next to the main account associated with a contact, you can connect the same contact to multiple other accounts, where they assume a secondary role. Connecting contacts to one or multiple accounts in Venturelytic makes sure that the contact details only need to be changed once if required.
How to relate a contact to multiple accounts
1. From the contact record click on 'Relate Account'.
2. In the pop-up window proceed to choose the account and optionally type what role this contact has in relation to the chosen account.
3. Once saved, the new related account will appear on the contact page under 'Relations'. From this element you can navigate directly to the related account: In our example by clicking on 'Adidas'.
4. On the account record you can see all the related contacts in the 'Related Contacts' element on the right. The 'Contacts' element, located just above, displays all contacts whose primary account, in this case, is Adidas.
5. Alternatively, you can add related contacts from the account record by clicking on the arrow and selecting 'New'.
