Merge Accounts

If accounts exist twice in Venturelytic, you can merge the accounts. This process will combine duplicate accounts into one, ensuring cleaner data management. This can be done by following the next steps:

1. Switch to Salesforce Classic: Click your profile icon at the top right, then select "Switch to Salesforce Classic."

2. Access Accounts: Go to the "Accounts" tab.

3. Find and Merge Duplicates: Click on "Merge Accounts" under the "Tools" section. Search for the accounts you want to merge, select them (up to three), and click "Next."

4. Choose Master Record: Select the account you want to keep as the primary record.

5. Select Field Values: Choose which information from the duplicate accounts you wish to retain in the master record.

6. Merge: Review your choices and click "Merge" to finalize.
